Yes I pay for it every year but thats because ikite is the only provider of this service. The app ui is terrible in so many ways its not worth even putting here.

This is a wonderful application and I use your site for many different purposes. Thank you for your efforts and Happy New Year!
Web sight is very helpful but now a days I cant see much due to the fact I havent given any money.
Couldnt live without it!
We all use that app for wind forecast to kite surf in South Florida but, unfortunately to see live stations you must pay, so we dont. Instead we call each others to know if the wind is good. This app with a free or a one time fee to get weather station would be much better.
This is a great app especially for someone whos a kite boarder who wants to see rely on current and future wind conditions!
Not only is this App a great way to track wind and tides but with the daily briefing I learn a ton about my local wind/weather patterns.
I have been using iKitesurf on the web since about 2003. This app is simply a better interface to the same data. For wind sports, the wind observation maps and presentation of public models is the best I have found. (And I have used all NWS sites extensively, including their surface aviation forecasts.). The app allows you to organize these into meaningful groups, e.g. Home and Hatteras, which I find really convenient. This is all free. If you are willing to pay them, you gain access to the wind meters that they control, their higher resolution WeatherFlow wind model and a meteorologists interpretation. The wind meters are a must have in some locations, e.g. Cape Hatteras, since they are the only ones well-positioned for conditions on the sound. I have found the meteorologist forecasts to be very good. If you are reading this, you know that the wind can be fickle and hard to predict. These guys do the best at maximizing your chances. As for their WeatherFlow model, I dont think it is much better than the newer NWS regional wind models. As for the app itself, it has gotten a lot better and works fine. It will crash now and then, but I find it to be worth the trade for the above advantages. If you are serious at all about performance wind sports, you need to get this app and use it.
Accurate and easy to use

This app is really a game changer for the wind chaser. I love the pro forecast - high yield info for people with a busy life style.
I am a beginner kite border in this app has been a valuable resource, although I hear the pro version is more accurate and updated more frequently than this free version, I use this in combination with another app or two to reduce the chances of being slaughtered by mother Earth, I mean, mother ocean!
Cant live without! Pro forecast is great! Lots of features.
If you are a kite surfer you already know the benefits of Ikitesurf. Real time wind reports of your favorite locations plus forecasts and much more. This is a must have for anyone who kite surfs. Easy to use and easy on the pocketbook.
You cant kite if you dont have wind. Nothing is more frustrating than being at the water, in a wetsuit, about to launch but the wind dies. This app takes away some of that frustration with Pro forecasts (pay the fee, its worth it) and onsite wind reports. Nothings perfect, but this comes close.
I am a busy professional with few opportunities to kite. This app allows me the luxury of glancing at my phone to see what the forecast has in store and schedule myself to make sure I can get a good slice of wind every now and again. Thanks guys!
Really helpful, home and away
I use this app every day. Great way to see if I might get a session after work
Great tool. Lots of wind spots and this app includes a classifieds section. Win win
